Default 2Pdr recuperator mechanism

Hello all,

I was hoping someone may be able to help us out as we are attempting to reassemble the museum's 2Pdr gun from misc parts and could use some technical information about how the recuperator mechanism is assembled, and to find out which parts we are still missing.

Thanks in advance

Phill

I can also get some scans from my 2 pounder manual if required. Anyone know whats happened to Tim Scriven? My mails to both his addresses are bouncing back. Ron

Default 2 pdr

Hello Matt, Dave and Ron,

Yes the museum's 2 pounder is the trailed version and we have only a partially photocopied manual which is short on detail anyway.

Any data and info would be of course, very handy

Thanks

Phill

Default 2 Pdr

Hi

I have look through my photos and can not fine any of the recuperator when we had it in bits, will look further.

In one of the manuals there is a very good coloured plate of the mechanism.

Thanks all, will keep scratching our heads as there seems to be a seal or something missing here...

Cheers
